ER4043 TIG Filler Wire — Silicon-Rich Aluminium Filler for 6XXX & Cast Aluminium Alloys

ER4043 is an aluminium TIG filler wire known for its silicon-rich alloy formulation, making it ideal for welding heat-treatable 6XXX aluminium base metals, cast aluminium components, and for general aluminium fabrication work. Its higher silicon content improves fluidity of the weld pool and reduces susceptibility to cracking during welding and cooling.

• All-Position Usable — Suitable for flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead welds.

• Good Compatibility — Works well with 6XXX series aluminium alloys (like 6061, 6063) and many cast aluminium materials. It’s more forgiving of surface conditions than some other filler wires.

• Attractive Bead Appearance — Smooth weld beads, good finish, with less need for excessive grinding.
